I’m a Ph.D. student in love with biochemistry and metabolic
engineering, especially interested in synthetic metabolism for
C1 assimilation and production of fluorinated metabolites.

The Alma Mater Studiorum of Bologna was
founded in 1088 making it the oldest Western university.
Alberto loves cooking and consider tortelllini to be
of the right size if 5 of them can fit in a single
tablespoon.
Alberto is trying to learn the same small sentence in
each language. He’s currently at around 15 languages.
In his spare time, Alberto is learning how to mix
music with a small DJ controller he found in Berlin.
