In love with metabolic engineering and biotechology since 2010 and invading the private life of a very important bacterium since 2017.
Passionate about the possibility of influencing the course of molecular events in living cells, and having dozens of questions to find an answer to, I entered the best scientific university of Russia, the Moscow State University, where I got my Bachelor and Master degree (with a major in Biochemistry). My thesis was made in collaboration with a biotechnology company, and it was an amazing introduction to the field of metabolic engineering and construction of bacterial cell factories. Looking forward to new discoveries, in 2017 I joined the Copenhagen Bioscience Ph.D. program sponsored by The Novo Nordisk Foundation, and became part of the SEM group―one of the warmest experiences I had so far as a young scientist.
