Role
My official role in the SEM group is
leading the Cake Task Force. I make sure that once per week
someone brings a cake for us to eat together. I believe that
it helps to brighten up the mood of the group and creates
pleasant resting moments — although this task force can be as
daunting as establishing biofluorination.
More recently, I also took over the task of organizing the SEM
general meetings and Journal Clubs, so we can all sit down and
discuss about our projects and published papers, sometimes
over a cake.
