Biochemist determined to challenge enzymes with new to Nature reactions: my duty in the SEM group is to make proteins from Pseudomonas putida (and others) to comply with our every whim.
Role
Besides my own projects, my role in the lab is to be the protein-guy. Due to my background in Biochemistry, I am the one advising my teammates in the SEM group on potential issues during production, purification, and activity assays of their enzymes. I am also taking care that we all have the necessary supplies to work with proteins (not to be confused with protein supplies to workout, which is probably territory of other SEMsters).
